What is web design ?
Web design is the process of creating internet sites . It encompasses many diverse aspects, including page layout, content creation, and graphic design. As firma web design and web-development are often used interchangeably, web design is a subset of the broader group of web development.
Web sites are created with a markup language named HTML. Web designers build webpages using HTML tags that specify the articles and meta data of each web page. The design and appearance of these elements within a webpage have been usually defined using CSS, or cascading style sheets. So, most websites include a blend of HTML and CSS that defines the way each page can look in a browser.
This type of editor gives a visual interface for designing the page design and the program automatically produces the corresponding HTML and CSS code. Yet another popular way to design websites is with a content management system such as WordPress or Joomla. These services deliver different site templates which may be used as a startingpoint for a new website. Web-masters can subsequently add material and customize the layout working with an internet interface.
While HTML and CSS have been used to design the look and feel of a website, images must be generated separately. For that reason, graphic-design can overlap with web design, since graphic artists often create images for use on the internet.
